Close Wound Suction Unit is suitable for close wound drainage under negative pressure post operatively with the option to operate one or two catheters simultaneously.

Chest Drainage Catheter

Chest drainage catheter used to provide developmentally-friendly chest drainage when a patient has a pneumothorax or hemithorax, which is air or blood in the pleural space (the space between the lung and the chest wall). This condition does not allow the lung to inflate, which can be fatal if not treated. In a situation like this, a chest tube is inserted to provide drainage from the pleural space. This chest drainage catheter is designed specifically for the fragile neonate to minimize bruising to the pleura and the chest wall during insertion. The soft, non-wettable silicone material prevents scarring of tissue and debris adhesion.

A Respirometer is a medical apparatus or a device which is used to measure the volume of air that is inhaled and exhaled by the lungs. This device helps the lungs to retrain and also assists in how to take slower and deeper breathes which could be difficult for someone who has undergone surgery or a COPD exacerbation and may find it painful to breathe on his own. The Respirometer is made up of a plastic base plate with three transparent chambers with designated volume and each chamber consists of a coloured ball or a sphere. The central part is attached to a tube with a mouthpiece which has an integrated filter. The balls rise uniformly when the user inhales.
